Time to Go

In a few short hours the members of the NCO Work and Witness Team will leave for the airport. The planning is done, the packing is done, the weighing of bags...even the carry on bags should be done. Now it is time to go. Please pray for the team as we travel these next 24 - 30 hours by vans, planes and buses to get to Maputo, Mozambique.

An update I just received this evening from Tim Sharrock via the Gideons International......"Brothers and Sisters: Tim Sharrock offers his thanks for the continual prayers for the Mozambique Blitz Team. All are doing well tired and happy with a total of 109,365 scriptures placed in the hands of mostly children. God supplied the team with enough local Gideons, vehicles, drivers and interpreters for a successful Blitz. PTL. Continue to pray for all of the team to return safetly home this weekend."...
Great news from Maputo. Of course Tim will not be returning to the States with the other Gideons. He will be at the airport Sunday to greet the rest of the NCO W&W team as we arrive. I personally look forward to working with Tim to distribute even more Bibles in Maputo in the coming weeks.

Hopefully I will be able to update everyone on our safe travels shortly after we arrive in Maputo. We are supposed to land at 1:35PM Sunday (Mozambique time) which is 7 hours ahead of Ohio time. So that will be 6:35AM Sunday morning (Ohio time) when we land in Maputo.

Thank you all for your prayer already. I personally can tell I am being prayed for. It is an overwhelming and special blessing to have this kind of prayer support. It is my constant reminder that through your giving and your prayers, way more than 10 people are on this team. You are all a part of this team. We count it a privilege to represent you all to our brothers and sisters in Christ who live in Mozambique.
